I'm not much with words, but here we go...
My style is distinct, a result of the commitment to my craft, sincere love for what I do, and complete trust from clients (you!) who commission me.
Here, you’re not going to read about any awards, look at shiny badges, or scroll through “top 10 lists,” because what actually matters is that you connect with my work and you’re ready to trust me entirely to do what I do. Trust drives me to find the perfect balance between creative experimentation and honest documentation.
I mostly showcase portraits; my direction and vision come through strongest in these shots. Of course, weddings are about more than just pictures of yourselves, and I’m happy to share full galleries with you upon inquiry.

I am so thankful we found Sam to photograph both our engagement in DC and wedding pics in VA. I spent weeks sorting through the same cookie cutter washed out wedding photographers until I stumbled upon Sam. He takes the time to get to know couples and makes sure to photograph them in a way that is true to their personalities and relationship.
but then I saw Sam’s work in DC. We wanted an artist who uses photography as their medium, not a photographer…Sam is it. He has an eye that can filter out anything “ugly”, and he can turn the most mundane shots into pure art.
We cannot overstate how highly we recommend Sam! He told the story of our wedding day in Baltimore in a way we couldn’t have imagined. He has a gift for finding the little moments, and captures them so creatively and beautifully.
Throughout this wedding procession he has quickly and calmly answered all of my questions without getting frustrated. He truly is a gem! If you are looking for colorful, unique photos and a chill, but extremely talented photographer, this is your guy!
His work is unique and uncommon in the NYC area, but I was fortunate that he was easily able to come to New York. He was the first vendor I booked, since it’s the photos that remain after the day flies by. My only regret was not getting a photo with him at the end of the evening. He is a true gem!
Throughout our wedding day everything felt so smooth, Sam made sure every aspect of our shoot felt fun and encouraged us to try things. He saw new perspectives that I’ve never seen in other shoots at the venue that made our experience feel unique. That’s before we even mention the end result – his eye made all the difference, creating the most beautiful images I’ve ever seen. His work was worth every penny and his personality made the whole experience so much fun. I’d highly recommend Sam to everyone without hesitation!
