Starting as a political news and celebrity portrait photographer in DC, Sam was instantly drawn to wedding photography as a space to promote more inventive ideas. Sam’s focus is on photographic techniques that are deceptively simple but have the potential to transform difficult or uninspiring shooting environments into one-of-a-kind opportunities for every photo made.
I photographed Tapus and Twinkle earlier this year in Chicago, and ever since I couldn’t wait to reconnect with them for their three day (!) south asian wedding. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to work so hard for couples that trust me to do what I do. When weddings take place over multiple days like this – it’s exhausting, but also exciting to see everyone hit their stride, and by the end we are left with magic.
