Starting as a political news and celebrity portrait photographer in DC, Sam was instantly drawn to wedding photography as a space to promote more inventive ideas. Sam’s focus is on photographic techniques that are deceptively simple but have the potential to transform difficult or uninspiring shooting environments into one-of-a-kind opportunities for every photo made.
I met Darryl and Jon last year through a session they had booked in Washington DC during cherry blossom season. We all had such a great time together that once they locked in their venue (Hall of Lights) in Texas – I blocked off my calendar and made sure to be there. It was also my first time working with Julian from JLE Events, and their whole team was absolutely amazing to work with.
